Getting started
Will you tell me to cancel my annuity?
We have nothing to sell you, so we have no reason to push you either way. Your legal representative will provide you all options, and empower you to make your own decision.
What do I need to get started?
Your annuity contract if you have it and your latest annual statement. If you can’t find them, we can help you request copies from the insurer. Your legal representative will request additional documents as needed.
What does a review cost?
The review is free. You will know the cost in writing before anything starts. No commissions from anyone, ever.
Do you work in my state?

About annuities
What is a surrender charge?
A fee for taking money out of an annuity early, usually a percentage that steps down each year until it reaches zero. Your contract has the exact schedule.
Can I get out of my annuity without a penalty?
Sometimes. Options include the free-look period, the annual penalty-free withdrawal amount, waiting out the schedule and, in some contracts, waivers for nursing-home care or terminal illness.
What is a 1035 exchange?
A tax-free move* from one annuity to another. It can make sense, but the new contract often starts a new surrender period.

For families
I’m helping a parent. Can you talk to me?
Yes, with your parent’s permission. Many of our calls start with an adult son or daughter. We will explain what we need to speak with you directly.
My parent was sold an annuity that doesn’t make sense. What now?
Gather the contract and statements, write down what you remember about the sale and call us. If the sale was unsuitable, timing can matter.
